When looking for things to do in Palm Springs, CA the city landscape is rich with lots of outdoor sculpture. We see it wherever we go and it comes from many sources.
There are pieces donated by the city and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians have erected many great pieces in various areas in honor of their heritage and contribution to the Coachella Valley; and private citizens, businesses and art galleries have contributed to the rest.
Having this very public display of art makes for more fun driving around town and they are great landmarks too. (I’ll meet you right by Lucille Ball at Tahquitz and Palm Canyon).
For more information about Art and Culture in the Palm Springs area, we will post more soon that will show geo-targeted locations of the city’s wealth of public art. So sit back and enjoy the gallery of photos we have for you right here. Let us know if you want to use any of them, I’d be happy to send you the originals.
Palm Springs is a culturally alive region and we are all proud to call it our home.
